Eliza & Sean’s Summer Wedding at Linwood Country Club

Summer weddings along the Jersey Shore always come with a little bit of unpredictability when it comes to the weather, but Eliza and Sean’s beautiful wedding day at Linwood Country Club turned out to be absolutely perfect in the end. The couple traveled to a nearby church for their ceremony, which made the moment even more meaningful. Sean’s uncle, who is a priest, officiated the ceremony. In fact, he had married several other couples in the family before them, so it was always the plan for him to be the one to marry Eliza and Sean as well.

Having a family member officiate the ceremony added such a heartfelt and personal touch. It made the entire ceremony feel even more special as they exchanged their vows surrounded by loved ones.

After the ceremony, everyone traveled back to Linwood Country Club for the reception. As we made our way back, the rain slowly began to let up—and by the time we arrived at the venue, it had completely stopped.

The timing couldn’t have worked out better. With the rain gone, we were able to fully take advantage of the incredible outdoor spaces that make this venue so special for New Jersey wedding photography.

As the evening continued, the clouds began to break even more, and the sky opened up to reveal an absolutely stunning sunset. Of course, we took full advantage of the moment and stepped outside for sunset portraits.

Sunset photos are always one of the most fun parts of the wedding day. By this point, the couple has relaxed, the nerves are gone, and it’s a quick and fun moment before heading back inside to celebrate.

But what made this sunset session truly unforgettable was something none of us expected.

As we walked along the golf course during sunset, we noticed something incredible happening. Hundreds of turtles were making their way across the green, coming out from the bay.

It was such a fun and unexpected sight that added a magical and memorable moment to the evening. Watching these little turtles slowly make their way across the grass while the sunset glowed in the background made the entire moment feel even more special.
